Moving back home

We have been busy lately. After 6 1/2 and 5 years for Javi and Ydalmi, many snow storms, and many cold winter days, we are moving back home. I guess that the saying "family first" is pretty strong lately. We are happy. And we are sad because we are leaving our friends that became family in the last years. So many memories that we are going to treasure forever. We will never forget our times in Michigan and we are looking forward to a great life back home: warm 80 degrees all-year-around-average-temperature PUERTO RICO.

I will never forget the Yuca Games, Dominos Tournaments, Pig-nic, Sand Volleyball games in Canton until we couldn't see the ball anymore because it was so dark, Halloween parties at Sergio's basement, Vernnaliz's cooking skills, Sheila's scrapbooking skills and many other skills, Nancy's cakes, "dale Ramon, dale Ramon" reggeaton, Juny and Sheira's baby sitting Valerie, the motorcycle club, the good brazilian friend, the time we installed sod in our yard (thanks Salva), finishing the basement (thanks Edgardo), the farewell parties (one more leaving, so sad), the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, the Red Wings, the poor Lions, the wine tasting parties at Karin's, my favorite PT at work who became a very good friend of mine, many Baby Showers, and the famous Girls Night Out that was the product of you know what ;-0

Thank you all for the good times!!!

We had a farewell party last night Feb 17 and our friends showed us one more time how great it is to have them around. Take care of each other here and visit us when you go back home. Let's keep in touch.

Good luck with the move, I am sure you will be sad to leave all your friends (so many too!) but you cannot put a price on having family close at hand. It will be great for Valerie to have her grandparents, aunts, uncles and little cousins around her in Puerto Rico, she's a lucky girl! Best wishes, Therese,x
