The tradition is to pick up some grass (for the King's camels)the night of January 5th, and put it in a shoe box. Leave the shoe box next or under the bed and go to sleep so that night the three kings will come and leave gifts. The camels of course need to eat the grass and they leave a trace all the way to the door where they came in and out of the house. The next morning January 6, the kids will wake up and find gifts in the shoe box.
So here's Valerie doing the tradition:
1/5/09
And here's Valerie with the gifts and cleaning the left overs from the camels.
