2009 Relay for Life

American Cancer Society's Relay for Life 2009: We attended with grandpa (he is a survivor), so we walked the parade and then gave a couple of laps walking in the track. This is 24 hour event where there is always someone at the track through the 24 hr period.

We spent 5 hours in the event and we all enjoyed the experience and celebrated LIFE! We are so glad grandpa is alive!

And mommy remembered her two friends that battled cancer like superheroes but had to go to better life: Rosalia and Noa. In memory of them and in gratefulness of grandpa's life, we went to Relay for Life 2009.









Valerie found these new friends, twins (they are daughters of the General Manager at mommy's work).
