Three Kings' Day

On January 5 (Three Kings' Eve), grandma helped Valerie collect some grass in shoe boxes for the kings to leave gifts and the camels eat the grass for their journey...this is a tradition that we follow every year.

On January 6 morning, when Valerie looked at her shoe box, there were gifts left for her.

Valerie said hi to our dog Wubbzy before opening her gifts, because Wubbzy was hospitalized for 4 days and finally she was with us...(In a note aside: Wubbzy passed away on January 8 after battling with an unknown illness that at least was not rabbies- the vet tought it was rabbies but the test result after she passed away was negative. She lived with us for four weeks and was loved before she died, may she rest in peace and will look for her when we raise to heaven).

Finally Valerie opened her gifts: a chalk board and a set of Crayola with markers, etc. She was thrilled because she said: "now I am the teacher".
