Visit to China

September 2010 we visited China. We went to Beijing, Guilin, Xian, Suzhou, and Shanghai. It was a great experience with a different culture, especially for Valerie.

We went to the Forbidden City, Tian Anmen Square, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Great Wall. We also visited Xian and saw the Terracota Warriors; Guilin with its amazing scenery. Suzhou with its canals (Venice of Orient). And finally, Sanghai, the modern city where we visited the World Expo. We spent a total 13 days in China and we had a great time there.

And then, back to reality! We went home. But it was great to use a western bathroom when we returned. China really is overpopulated, the culture is very warm and friendly. This was a great experience for all of us. Hope you have enjoyed our sample of pictures from our trip.
