Open Heart Surgery (abuelo Ramon) on Sep 23 (mommy's birthday)

This was a surprise to all of us. He seemed very healthy and suddenly during a routine heart study the doctor told him he needed open heart surgery. Thanks to God (we prayed a lot...) he did great in surgery and now 2 months later he is fully recovered.

Mommy got a new Nikon camera for her birthday!
And during the waiting time, she tooked pictures of everyone, including a curious Jesus' figure with a lot of crosses that apparently people leave there at the waiting room. It was very stressful at the fifth hour and then close to the sixth hour the doctor came out with good news.

















Abuelita Gloria sent a doll to Valerie, and Valerie was happpy to receive a gift on a non-special day (no birthday, or Christmas, etc).




A couple days later we took Valerie to the hospital to see abuelito.
